The typical range for cereal grains varies from 9% to 37%, and for oil seeds – from 5% to 28%. Repeatability of the measurement results: ±0.5% storage moisture with normal grain at room temperature.

However, properties of grain are likely to vary due to, for instance, varying growing conditions or new species.
